Boys U16s and U14s Performance Squads (by invitation only) Years 9-11 (U16) Years 7-9 (U14) Tuesday See fixtures for times Les Quennevais Bill Aston, Neil Merritt, Sarah Heelis

Historically Jersey Hockey have run both boys and girl U16 performance squads and boys and girls U14 performance squads.  These squads will hopefully, travel restrictions allowing, play against Guernsey in an inter insular and travel to the UK for competition in 2021/2022.  The situation with regard to 2021/2022 is still uncertain owing to the Covid-19 outbreak.

These squads are important steps on the Jersey Hockey player pathway.

Girls and Boys are invited to attend trials for these squads either via their school teachers or from observations by relevant Jersey Hockey coaches.

Junior Inter Insulars take place for both boys and girls at the U14 and U16 age groups.  Dates will be agreed with Guernsey and advised accordingly.

The U14 and U16 GIRLS are now run by Jersey Hockey.

Both the U14 and U16 performance squads are very important steps on the Jersey Hockey player pathway.  Players are invited to attend trials for these squads either via their school teachers or from observations of relevant Jersey Hockey coaches.  Invitations are sent out in the summer preceding the start of a new season.  We very much hope to be able to offer meaningful competition against Guernsey and some UK teams during the 2021/2022 season.
