  • Jersey lose on sudden death strokes in England Hockey Trophy

    Rathbones Jersey missed out on progressing to the next round of the England Hockey Trophy following an agonising defeat at the hands of Kingsbridge & Salcombe HC on Saturday. Goals from Aleisha Duffy and Kerry Rogers helped Jersey fight back from a goal behind twice to draw 2-2 after normal time, before losing on sudden death in the shootout.

    It has been Jersey's best ever run in the competition, and captain Trudy Dillion-Nugent told ITV that she is pleased how the team has grown during the run:

  • Jersey O35s Trophy Success vs Yate HC

    Rathbones Jersey made a very strong start to their 4th round knock out match. They had all possession for the first quarter and pressed well in their attacking end, making it very difficult for Yate to advance down the pitch. Kerry Rogers and Sarah Smith made some quick attacks, driving into the D leading to many short corners. Yate's defenders were quick off the line and stopped a lot of strikes on goal.   • TPS Quackers 1s 3 : Nomads 1s 0

    Nomads had lots of possession in the opening 20 minutes but couldn't find a way past keeper Emily Le Feuvre. Quackers scored their first goal after a break down the left was smartly finished by Hannah Scriven. Scriven scored Quackers' second after a short corner and completed her hat trick just before half time from another short corner. Nomads came back into the game in the second half and could have grabbed a goal towards the end of the match, but were denied again by Le Feuvre tipping over the bar from a short corner.
